“I have traveled extensively all over the world, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, United Kingdom, Austria, South Africa, and most recently Morocco. My sister and I traveled to Casa Blanca, went on to Marrakech, and then up and over the Atlas Mountains out into the desert of the Merguze on camelback and slept in Berber tents under a million stars.” – Signy C.

“Fatherhood is quite the adventure. Other adventures have included biking to Washington DC alone on $5 per day, hitchhiking across the Algerian Sahara, hopping numerous freight trains and being ordered off one at gun point, hitchhiking from Colorado to Newfoundland to Louisiana, walking down and back up the Grand Canyon in one day in bicycling shoes, trekking Nepal.” – Bruce R.

“This year I crashed the Emmys, Golden Globes, Grammys, SAG Awards and Oscars for a documentary film called “Crasher”. It is the story of a former Hollywood party crasher (Me) who is coaxed out of retirement to see if he still has the guts to crash all the major Hollywood award shows and their after parties using his gift-of-gab and MacGyver-like sense of mechanical improvisation. What starts out as a lark soon takes on serious undertones as I hang out with the stars, eat great food and discover the disturbing lapses in America’s post 9-11 security.” – Scott W.

“I’ve been working in Hollywood since graduating from UCSB and have had the great fortune to work on many notable films ranging from Ferris Buellers Day Off to JFK. I’ve traveled all over the world working on movies – Europe, Africa, South America and just about everywhere in the USofA. Just like in high school, I still surf a ton but instead of surfing with Alan H. I now surf with my son.” – Bill B.

“(Regarding his Thai wedding ceremony) The first thing I did was dress in a traditional outfit of a silk jacket with a silk sachet. I was taken to the other end of town where a parade of many of the townsfolk, and a synthesized band with loud drums led me through the entire town, while everyone danced and pranced around me. We arrived at the house where I had to bribe several young ladies holding belts as virtual gates that I had to open at various points of the front yard. I finally made it into the house where I met with my future wife and a bowl holding jewelry, $5,000, and some flowers.” – Mark M.

“I always tell people who ask that I landed in a legal career because my friends in high school always said I should be a lawyer. You’ll be happy to know that you gave good advice. I am a civil rights and trial lawyer, working against discrimination and harassment in the workplace on behalf of women, people of color, lesbians and gay men, and people with disabilities.” – Jean H.

“I think the wildest thing I’ve done (I’ve lived a pretty tame life) was to hop a train. When I was in college at CSU Chico, some students hopped trains to Paradise. My friends, Kathy and Dave, and I decided we wanted to also. We waited a long time for a train to come along, saw an engine hooking up to the north end and hopped on. When it started moving, however, it went south!” – Susan L.

“In between chauffeuring kids around town, I am a volunteer preceptor at a medical-student-run free clinic in Sacramento, and I am involved in organizing community health fairs through my church.” – Monique B.
